Lavender Sugar
Foodie Floral Fun! - #2
Lavender Sugar 1 cup of granulated sugar 1 Tablespoon Culinary Lavender To get the lavender broken into smaller bits, we added them to a food processor. Then we added a small scoop of sugar. You need to add a little sugar because there isn’t enough lavender to touch the blade of the food processor. By adding some sugar, you will bring the volume up a bit and the blade will do a better job chopping the lavender buds. Don’t add all the sugar yet because the processor will chop the sugar as well as the lavender. If you process the sugar long enough, you will end up with powdered sugar. If you let it sit for a day or two, it will develop more lavender flavor.
